Well looks like his bike is ready to go. Im still waiting on parts to arrive. Once I get them all here I can put it all back together in a couple hours. Main thing Im waiting on is new keys and paint job. But if you guys want to take it before we could just photoshop my bike in

Nickels
03-30-2008, 03:11 PM
^We can wait for you. Unless its going to be like 4 months.. lol

triumph955i
03-30-2008, 03:43 PM
No no it wont be that long. I have my body panels in the shop getting painted and all the other parts are on the way. So I am thinking maximum of a month assuming all my shit gets here on time and I dont hit any snags.

Nickels
03-30-2008, 04:13 PM
Yea, probably everyone will be out and ready to ride by that time anyway.

What bike are you looking at getting? Dont like the 636 anymore?

01F4izzy
03-31-2008, 02:58 PM
it keeps dying on him and stuff, its carburated and i believe he wants an EFI bike...

jaceface
03-31-2008, 03:11 PM
what year 636?

95gsx
03-31-2008, 03:32 PM
03 and jakes right i want a EFI bike and am looking for an r6 plus the kawi is a little to "bow legging" on me just to wide.

triumph955i
03-31-2008, 03:40 PM
Im pretty surprised an 03 isnt EFI. Was this the last year to have carbs?

95gsx
03-31-2008, 03:42 PM
and i bought it in the assumption of it being efi if it wasn't then i would of never bought it. But i'm thinking its early 03 bike that still have carb before it went efi. which is weird because you think they would of made them all over in the winter when they don't release bikes. Its the only carbed 03 i have seen.

triumph955i
03-31-2008, 03:44 PM

jaceface
03-31-2008, 09:39 PM
if it IS a 2003 then YES it came from the factory with efi. Either you dont know what you're looking at (no offense) or someone swapped a motor in there for whatever reason.....

Mr. Jeff
03-31-2008, 09:53 PM

Maybe your car came without ABS and hers came with the option of it. Is hers a different trim level?

triumph955i
04-19-2008, 02:31 PM
nope its the SAME car. Both 1992 Honda Accord LX, both a light green, both tan interior, both around 163,xxx miles. The only difference is mines a manual and hers is an auto. You would think my dad planned this somehow

Nickels

the manual LXs may have came without ABS since automatics and ABS are both options.. i dunno.

I wasnt getting very great in my first one, it was an 88 carbd that i floored pretty much everywhere. I was getting around 22-23, but in my third one (second was technically a parts car) i was getting around 27-28. That was an 89 carbd also, but was in damn near mint condition with 225,000 miles!
