getting it back in 3 weeks... $3400 in damages. its schweeeeeet oh and got my tinted wind screen in.........

yup new swing arm, stator cover, new plastics, head lights, and bolts! went in today and check it

yup because there is a scratch on it..... they are going to repair it and usually if the insurance company is paying for it they just put all new on it. I seriously want to just take the money and fix it myself but i don't think they will let me get the check

MO how would i go about having them give me the check?

If you got a qoute, im sure they give you the check to go get it fixed..

star city said they would probably get the check. i want to get it because i can have the bike fixed for 1500 and still be able to license it....... and put the rest on the loan or something.

actually it does not work that way. they will give the check to star city. whats probablly going to happen is star city will do the work and then send an invoice off to your insurance agency and then your insurance will send you a check in the mail because the work will be under your name at star so you still have to go in and pay it. understand that?

there is a slight chance that insurance will give the check to you or star city early and in that case you can maybe talk to star about just doing the work that you want them to and get the rest back. but that is a very small chance.

insurance rarely give you the check straight up, but there is always that .1% that it could happen to you. in other words pray to the bike gods really hard!

eh haven't had much luck lately so i'll count on it being the 99%...
