HELP! Legit or scam...

I have been emailing a guy on a bike...06 gsx-r with 3,900 miles on it. He is asking $3,000 for the bike and a helmet and jacket. He claims it will be delivered to my house and after 3 days if I don't like or want it I can ship it back free of expense through the ebay protection plan. Help me out please...fast.

Yea I am not getting it. I have to spend 6k plus for the bike I want. I the car has to go. price lowered again...this is getting sad. $13,800 takes it and hurry up cus it is going to be hard as hell for me to do it.

Pretty much anything with a new bike for cheap that has to be shipped or paid or first. Its a scam. There are tons of those on Craigslist too. Like the ones that say, located in Lincoln, send money order/paypal or something and will deliver bike for free. Then in the pic, theres a palm tree and a beach in the background, lol.

if it sounds to good to be true it is.

some guy called me using an automated system and said he would pay what i wanted for my car and he sent me 10k for a 1300 price tag... i was like umm ok fine then when i emailed him and said no dice he called back up and i was like i'm not dealing with Nigerian scamers so move on. and the supervisor of the company got on and disconnected his call and informed me to seek legal counsel

this is a scam. i read all about this kind on the interweb. lots of them are from nigeria.

I find lots of cheap ones on craiglist...email them and tell them I want to talk. They never will talk to me and just want my info and the all want to use the ebay protection payment plan. I am starting to get really pissed off. If someone would just buy my damn car I wouldn't have to worry about it....

yeah there are TONS of these scams out there, I caught one on Ebay and emailed the company about it, it was a "CBR" ...but only the engine, tranny, rear end, subframe, front fork assembly, and NO VIN! turns out it was a chop operation. it's sad that people are out there that do this, but watch out, they're everywhere!
