so went to dyno days and threw the bike up and figuring the power i put down at cliffords i shoud be around 160 on dans. well no i only put down 138whp on spray. something is wrong and its pissing me off. last year i put down 132n/a and put like 126n/a this time

now im tuned with ported head and 23 shot of spray and only picked up 4whp wtf!!

did you have to turn down timing for spray??
This is why I've read everyone pays upwards of $1k for a port... because there is some science to it and if they just start porting you actually hurt performance.

but I have no idea what would cause the promblems... could be cams off timing?

i retarded the timing -4 and thats all i was told to do. and i guess the port job isnt where you pick up the power from is when you do bigger valves i guess????? according to cliifords just doing a port job wont really do much but maybe a couple hp..

but still 4hp with everything i have done, i just dont get it..

well found out i actually lost power by just porting my head and not messing with the valves, so just ordered a new head and going to spend the 1k to have it done right at cliffords.
