So it finally happened...

Was comin down 48th street by leighton, looked to my right, looked forward and this car was completely stopped when it was just doin 35. I hit both brakes hard but the bike stood up anyway, 12 o clock stoppie, i hop off, bike falls forward and lands upside down on its tank then falls over.

Scared the shit outta me. Not much got fucked up tho. Headlight is broken worse then it was lol, tank is dented, Cracked tail fairing. Worst part is that the rear subframe cracked on both sides where it mounts.

I walked it home as I live like 6 blocks away. Can't get it started now. I hear the fuel pump priming, everything is on and ok. I checked some fuses in the back (ignition, headlight, fuel pump, etc) they're all good. I took the + cable off the battery for a couple minutes and nothin is workin.

It just wont do anything when I hit the starter. Doesn't try to or anything. Help? Is their a relay or somethin ? All the wires looked ok

When my Triumph went down I had to take it to a dealer to get some shit reset in the computer. What they said is that there is a sensor or something in there so that when it goes past a certain point or too hard of an impact, it just wont do anything. That might be wat is happening with yours. Your problems sound similar to mine

ya i looked back forward and I had about 10 feet to work with and i was dead center with her car so their was no swervin, i was fucked. If i coulda just landed it and not had it tip forward it woulda been siiick.

Just need the subframe, which im biddin on right now. Ill fix the dent and I have fairing on the way anyway, ill just get a new headlight

So chet and I were lookin at it, and we found these 3, and a bare wire for the brights. Two random wires that look like they were in a plug, that white thing w/ the black cap (tip over sensor?) and That random plug. WTF? Anyone have ideas?

I know what im doing.. just no motivation. I gotta pull my axles out in the rear, to pull the gears out (i dont have a pumpkin cover) so i can redo that gasket.

depends on the rear end. some you just slide hammer them out, some you have to put in nuetral and spin the gears, pull the clip out, and then slide the axles out, then pull all the gears out. what happened?

rear end leak and u joint? thats an hour or two tops. dont need to mess w/ gears/axles for that.

The way it comes out, you gotta slide the axles out a bit. Its already done, and the truck doesnt vibrate anymore!

haha, no i know how to start my bike. ever since i did that mega stoppie trying not to rear end a car, it wouldn't start. so yesterday i pulled the back fairing off and everything, charged up the battery, and jumped the positive cable to the starter wire and it started up, and now amazingly it starts up normal. woot woot
