Probally the copper gasket if you took you pipe off to do your exhaust. Look for white marks around it.

I know yamaha's have a factory tick. yours might not be factory but it could be there from factory. I would suggest a valve adjustment.

Psp does good work from when I had my current and previous bikes in there(95 Suzuki 750, 03 TTR 225, 85 RM250, 89 honda125, 00Triumph daytona). Always seem to be a bit expensive though. Maybe I'm just cheap but I hate paying labor costs. Especially for something I could have done myself.

what did you have done. i know triumphs are a lot for services since they are "rare"

it was my dads when he had the work done on it. Wasn't anything too involved tho. I think it was just fluids and tires maybe. I was at PSP about a 2 weeks ago and I was supprised that they dont carrry the daytona 675. Its a pretty popular bike I thought, maybe there just isnt much market for it I unno.
We go to Breeze Cycle now. They specialize in Triumph parts and service. Still expensive but they can get parts much much faster than any place else. But they are the ones that told me to total my bike..... :x

ya ive really had nothing but good experiences with starcity. the only thing that was kinda bad is that my 03 was a little high priced, but oh well.

I have only dealt with the parts counter but they are helpful i think the sales men are just "douche by position" because on talked to me for awhile then when i bought a bike elsewhere its like i don't exist so up his.

I think its usually just the nature of a salesman. They dont make shit for money without commission. Last job I made 6 bucks an hour with 1% of sales. But if you are sellin 2 grand over a 4 hour shift you made 11 bucks an hour. Granted I wasnt selling motorcycles or cars but same concept. I have run into some good salesmen though. I flat out told a salesman at Psp that I already have a motorcycle and wasnt interested in buying one here and he still stood around and talked with me about bikes for 20 min until I had to leave. I agree though some can be assholes and I am in no way justifying their asshole-ness (if thats a word) by working on comission.
Damn I get off topic really easy....

well you know thats a given when you walk into a place where they work to expect them to try and sell you something. But one there will chat with me for hours about bikes and this guy who was just cleaning bikes just said eh when i said hey. which was totally uncalled for. I know hes a good salesmen but he's always been that way ever since i didn't buy from him. sore sport
