and I hopefully should be getting a bike here pretty soon.

Anyone got any recommendations on Jackets and Gloves? I have to wear all of my PPE (Personal protective equipment) since I am in the military (stationed at Ft.Hood,TX)

look for one with some vents then other wise you are gunna sweat your ass off.
I have Icon superduty gloves. about 50 bucks, I like them a lot. Leather too.
Ive got an HJC helmet. and meh its okay, wind noise is kinda loud but not horrible.

Not in stop and go traffic, but its better than nothing for those short periods of time where you are going 25-30 in town.

I have a Icon TiMax2 leather jacket and the back is a textile and it breaths really well but its on a 1.4 mm leather chassis, so im pretty sure it would count for your requirement and maybe you wouldnt die from heat exhaustion
