Put aftermarket exhaust on to rid of hideous exhaust canisters/heat shields and enhance the amazing sound this machine makes and you have a killer bike!

I just think it is way to wide, 09 R1=grand prix of motorcycles, wider is better haha I love the engine though its pretty sick

IMO I like the wider feel of a 1k... I hated the last r1 cuz it felt like a 600 sitting on it. Same for other new 1k's... The front looks better in person than I was expecting, I think the engine/sound might be jading me over some of the styling cues they did. Least they didn't put the blinkers on the fucking mirrors yet

I like the new cbr1000 i rode both the new 10 and rr and i actually chose the rr just cause i wanted a cruising bike and didnt really care much about speed at that point just comfort and handling and that thing handled like a dream but the 10 would have whomped the shit out of it in a race I read that they raced the 2 from 0 to 180 and the kawi had it by 2 when they hit 100 then pulled 28 more bike lengths by the time they top out ROFL!
