The more and more I look at it I like the jordan one. Easy to run, just paint the tank white. yea.
You gotta keep certain things in consideration though.
How easy to paint the tank?
Does it look stock?
Should I care?
edit: added a poll

i didn't mean how physically easy haha, i meant like to match the fairings. like if i get set #1 i'd have to have someone paint it to match ya know, whereas the jordan one i'd just have someone paint it glossy white

Burntz
04-14-2008, 08:53 PM
not as thick, not as flexible, paint doesn't hold to them as well

Burntz

the small weight savings arn't worth it to me
and i just did a bunch of searching
every single thing i found said abs plastic is more flexible, and better
fiberglass is just easier to repair
triumph955i
04-14-2008, 11:39 PM
yea I had plastics on my bike. You cant repair any scratch. For me that was a big thing cause my plastics for my bike are $2500 new. Where as you can get the hole set for $400. So its easily replaceable. I decided not to go with plastic. The guy we bought from said they were carbon fiber but I think they are just fiberglass and he didn't know what he was talking about. Either way they are a considerable amount lighter than the plastic. But nothing huge that I will be able to tell a difference in performance or anything.
